About Us

How it started

What is Songs From The Cross?

What is Songs From The Cross?

From the first chord struck in 1991 to this present melody, my life has been a symphony of grace, love, and unwavering faith. This album is a reflection of that journey—a tapestry woven with threads of trials overcome, blessings received, and a steadfast walk with the Lord.

To my beloved wife, Diane, whose strength and devotion have been the cornerstone of our family. Your love is the harmony to my melody, and together we've composed a life rich in purpose and passion.

To our three daughters, the beautiful notes that add depth and richness to our song. Your lives are a testament to God's faithfulness and the legacy of love we've built.

To the listeners, may these songs inspire, uplift, and draw you closer to the One who orchestrates our lives with perfect precision.

As Colossians 3:14 reminds us, "Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony." And as 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 teaches, love is patient, kind, and enduring. May this album be a reflection of that love.

What is Songs From The Cross?

"Songs From The Cross" (SFTC) is more than an album—it's a transformational musical experience told from the perspective of Jesus Christ, as He reflects on each of His twelve disciples in the final days leading to the Cross.

Crafted over a lifetime of ministry, performance, and prayer, this project merges theater, music, and scripture into a unique tapestry of truth and emotion. Each of the first 12 songs is a dramatic, stand-alone musical piece, written through the eyes and voice of Jesus toward each disciple—capturing their doubts, their faith, their failures, and ultimately, His unfailing love for them.

The 13th song stands apart—Jesus’ prayerful and intimate conversation with the Father and the Holy Spirit in the Garden of Gethsemane, sung on the night He was arrested, tried, and beaten in our place. It is the emotional crescendo of the album—raw, holy, and deeply moving.

The Vision

Long-Term Goal

Long-Term Goal

We believe churches, ministries, and missions around the world are hungry for tools that combine creativity and conviction, beauty and truth, storytelling and theology.

SFTC was designed to meet that need.

Each song is built with ministry in mind—modular in nature, allowing directors, pastors, and worship leaders to select one piece or the entire suite for customized use in services, sermon series, Easter dramas, or discipleship nights.

Key Elements of the Vision:

  • Multitrack-ready recordings – Downloadable stems so you can mute instruments or vocals as needed to match your team's setup.
  • Drama directions and director's notes for each song – Staging, character breakdowns, and scene flow.
  • Optional consulting – Zoom rehearsals and director coaching with the creative team for those purchasing the songs.
  • Theological depth meets emotional authenticity – Each disciple’s piece is biblically sound, yet dramatized in a way that resonates with both the churched and unchurched.
  • Recommended costumes and prop guides – To help churches of any size pull off impactful presentations without guesswork.
  • International mission adaptability – Designed to scale. Whether it’s one voice and a piano, or a full choir and cast—SFTC will meet you where you are.

Long-Term Goal

Long-Term Goal

Long-Term Goal

Our ultimate vision for Songs From The Cross is bold—because the message deserves nothing less.

We believe SFTC can become a global resource—fueling the Church’s creative voice, equipping ministries of every size, and bringing the Gospel to life through music, drama, and story. From small groups to stadiums, SFTC was built to scale, inspire, and connect.

But it doesn’t stop at the church doors.

We dream of SFTC stepping onto the main stage of culture—even platforms like America’s Got Talent or The Voice, where excellence meets visibility. Not for applause, but to bring the name of Jesus, the power of redemption, and the deeply human story of the disciples into spaces where faith rarely gets to shine.

And here’s where it gets exciting:

As churches and ministries perform these songs, we plan to compile performances from around the world—and let the viewers decide which interpretations of each disciple's story will go on to be part of the Broadway and global touring production of Songs From The Cross. It’s interactive Kingdom creativity—where excellence and anointing meet opportunity and global impact.

Imagine your local church’s portrayal of Peter or Mary Magdalene being voted into the final lineup—your story, your voice, your stage.

The long-term vision is clear:

  • Equip the Church.
  • Elevate the standard.
  • Expand the message.
  • Engage the world.

Because when Jesus tells the story—through His eyes, through His love—it deserves to be heard on every stage, in every language, and in every heart.
